Benjamin Muñoz is an award winning printmaker and painter living in Dallas, Texas. His work is often reflective of his heritage, upbringing, and current surroundings.
Muñoz often stacks the imagery in his work to symbolize that everything in life is dependent on what came before it, the idea that each generation supports the next. A largely self taught artist, Muñoz has had several solo exhibitions throughout the United States. His artwork is in several permanent collections across the United States, in museums such as the Mexic-Arte Museum and the National Museum of Mexican Art. Muñoz has had articles about his work published and discussed in several arts and culture publications, blogs, podcasts and portfolios. He also regularly gives artist talks at studios, galleries, and universities throughout the country.
