Reynaldo García Pantaleón. Born in the Dominican Republic, in 1967.


He studied Arts in the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (1985-1989) and The Art Students League of New York (1997).


His works have been part of numerous group shows both in the Dominican Republic and abroad. He had a solo show of his drawings (Mirar Intimo) in New York City in 1999.

And four solo shows in 2005 (Heroes-una muestra, 10 Años (years), Drawings-Latino Urban Life), in 2008 (    )  Marginal Paintings • Pinturas Marginales, in 2011 SOLO Paintings, in 2013 Real Fiction and in 2016 Senseless, at different locations throughout the city of New York.


Has collaborated with many community groups and artists throughout the years as an Artist, Graphic Designer and Musician.


Worked as the Fine Arts Instructor for Palenque, a violence prevention program for the youth, base in John Jay College of Criminal Justice (2001-2004) and with The Dominican Women's Development Center as an Art facilitator for young children (2005).

Work for The Children’s Aid Society as a Art instructor and special art projects developer (Murals, Summer Workshops and more) in different school sites from 2006 until 2013, currently works in The Gregorio Luperon HS, PS 132 and IS 52 as a after school Art Teacher and Mural Instructor.


Is a member of the Dominica York Proyecto GRAFICA (DYPG).


His work is a direct translation of every day life, the hopes and fears that confront us. And evolves from paintings to drawings; Music and photography to video and printing, objects, murals and silk-screening.


Resides in New York City since 1995.
